2- Student exchange programs
Student exchange programs are aimed at encouraging movement across the borders where international universities invite students to conduct research or study for a semester or two through exchange programs.
The Indian government along with 54 other countries signed the Education Exchange Programs (EEP’s) or Joint Declaration of Intent (JDIs) to promote exchange of bright and able students. Some of the countries on this list include USA, UK, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, etc.

3- Bursaries
The common difference between a scholarship and bursaries lies in their criteria for distribution. Scholarships are merit-based, while bursaries are aids extended to students considering their financial backgrounds. Private institutions and universities distribute bursaries to deserving students to help them achieve their dream of overseas education without having to worry about the expenses. Bursaries are not condition bound and do not ask students to repay on course completion. Some providers, however, require students to make donations towards benefiting other deserving students. A handful of institutions may ask students to render their services in lieu of the bursary.

4- Student education loans
Education loans make premium study destinations accessible to students. Almost all banks across the country make students lucrative loans offers. The loan provider will first access your eligibility to understand if your application meets the criteria of its institution. You will be asked to submit your ID proof, residential proof, proof of being accepted to a recognized university, academic documents, etc. You are to pledge collateral against the loan you seek. Loans can be paid after the completion of your program.

5- Internships
Universities run programs that are coupled with internships. Exposure to the real world, witnessing real-life scenarios are benefits one gets from corporate exposure. Internships are a great way to meet new people, build contacts, and foster mentorships. Internships introduce you to a working environment, while training you with the skills necessary for a job in your field of interest. The experience you earn will leave you with practical insights into the theoretical concepts you learn in the classroom. It will also give you an edge over other students that enter the job market with no prior experience.
